NO MAS MUERTES / NO MORE DEATHS

El Presbiterio Lima Nor - Este se suma a las innumerables iglesias e instituciones que oran por la Paz en nuestra amazonía.

Oramos por los miles de indígenas que cohexisten en la selva, salvaguardando la creación que Dios nos ha dado.

Oramos por los pueblos, caseríos y sus pobladores de toda la región norte de la selva, que padecen indirectamente el alza de los productos básicos, acrecentando aún más su pobreza y necesidad.

Oramos por los familiares de los policias, y los policias que lamentablemente trabajan bajo la consigna: "Las órdenes se acatan, sin duda ni murmuraciones".

Oramos por nuestra patria, para que abra sus ojos y mentes ante las consecuencias futuras que viviremos en la destrucción de nuestro ecosistema.

The Presbytery of Northeast Lima adds itself to the long list of churches and institutions praying for peace in our jungle.

We pray for the thousands of Indigenous persons coexisting in the jungle, who safeguard the creation that God has given us.

We pray for the people, villages and their residents throughout the northern region of the jungle, as the rise in demand for commodities indirectly further increases their poverty and need.

We pray for the families of the police officers and for the police officers themselves, who unfortunately must work under the slogan: “Don’t question; just take orders.”

We pray that our country might open its eyes and mind to see what consequences the future holds for the destruction of our ecosystem.
